So long as they don't get cocky like they did first gen... and keep using superflower... sure I'll try them.

The EVGA SuperNova GQ series is an FSP Aurum PT which was damm good (not like the old crappy FSP Aurum) it just has lower efficiency and its been made semi modular.

Otherwise its still very good almost as good as the G2 so there is no reason not buy one.

I'm tempted to contest that as the Superflower LeadEx is just so darn ahead of the pack, but Aurum PT is certainly a viable and quality platform as well. Just Leadex's ripple supression still is so ahead of the rest of the crew it makes me cringe to compare... not that it really makes a difference when you are talking that low though.

Side note: Nice to see EVGA finally dump the stamped steel fan grill.

Leadex has around 15mv ripple while Aurum PT has around 20-25mv, those 5-10mv are almost nothing which is the reason why i said almost as good.

As long as the price is lower then the G2 or GS there is no reason not to buy a GQ

The lower wattage leadex's (in this range) from evgas lineup have under 6mv ripple... But don't get me wrong, I agree completely. It was more of a "something inside me wants to disagree" more than a legit complaint or concern. ;)

Word of warning from a owner of higher level P2s. EVGA magnificent PSU power delivery-wise on one side. On the other (very) loud fan (unless disabled by EcoMode) and idiotically rigid cables. Keep that in mind.

I own a P2. The fan isn't that loud to me, and eco mode makes it a pretty small issue IMO. Of course your opinion may differ.

I agree about the stiff cables though.
